To restore a single domain from your cPanel account, you need to restore its database and the folder where the site files are located:

Restore the database

  • Log in to your cPanel account.

    I. For WordPress sites:

    • Access the document root of the site (from the Domains section).
    • In the wp-config file, find the 'Database username' line where the database name(s) are specified. Note down the database name in a text file or anywhere accessible to you.

    II. For PrestaShop sites:

    • Access the document root of the site (from the Domains section).
    • Look for the app folder and open the file app/config/parameters.php.
    • Find the line with 'database_name' => 'your_database_name'. Note down the database name in a text file or anywhere accessible to you.

III. Other CMS: Find the file where the database is declared and note down the name in a text file or anywhere accessible to you.

  • Search for Jetbackup5 in the cPanel account search bar and select DATABASES.

  • Identify the database you previously noted and click the Restore button.

Restore the folder containing the site files:

  • In JetBackup5, go to the Home Directory.

  • Click on the desired backup, then click on "Change File Selection".

    I. If the domain is the primary domain, find "public_html", of type Directory.

II. If the domain is an addon domain, find the folder named after the domain, of type Directory.
  • Mark the desired folder and then click on the Select Files button.

  • Click the Restore button.
